“Hi Merrily,

I am sending a much overdue email to you and all the staff at Saltwater Farm Vineyard. When I think about Allison and Juan's wedding being back in September and all that has occurred since then - the time seems like "just yesterday" yet it was over 4 months ago.

What can we honestly say about their day? It was absolutely perfect! From beginning to end. Allison and Juan often say their wedding was exactly what they had envisioned. As her parents - we completely agree. It was fun to plan and Friday, September 22nd is a day we continue to reminisce about almost daily! The pictures all around our house help! We are consistently hearing from others with "their take" on the day and all speak so highly of the venue and all vendors that made the wedding so special. Much of the "young" crowd said it was the best wedding they had attended yet.

I have attached a handful of pictures - showcasing as you see on a weekly basis how incredible all areas of your vineyard are.

We are now blessed even more in that Allison and Juan have purchased their first home in Chelmsford, MA and are 40 minutes from us - no more VA! We truly look forward to being able to come visit the Vineyard this spring when you open again.

Less than a year ago, I described to my daughter and now son-in-law, that the perfect wedding spot should be ‘casually sophisticated while being terribly chic.’ After [their wedding], they congratulated me on finding my vision in a venue and also finding the perfect place for their wedding.

The preferred provider system works wonderfully and [the vendors] were amazing. (Sorry...I did not originally like the idea at all). I have viewed dozens of photos of other weddings there...beautiful weddings. There is no picture that can prepare someone for what it actually looks like when you step foot on that property when it is all set up...I think it actually sparkles. Everyone was raving!

“We held our wedding ceremony and reception at Saltwater Farm Vineyard on May 29, 2022, and we could not have picked a better venue. Saltwater is absolutely gorgeous and the vendors that Merrily and Michael (the owners) have curated over the years are truly fantastic. We were lucky enough to have amazing weather and our guests (150 in total, which was a good size for the venue) thoroughly enjoyed viewing the grounds and sampling the wine during our cocktail hour.

We are grateful to Saltwater for hosting our special day. We were, unfortunately, the first couple at the venue that had to postpone our wedding day (originally set for April 25, 2020) due to the pandemic. Saltwater was generous and patient with us and we are so grateful to them for working with us over two years to safely finalize a date. Throughout this process, it was always a delight to see Merrily, Michael, and Jess. They were thoroughly professional and helpful each step of the way. “We loved Saltwater Farm Vineyard the first time we visited in 2021. As a pilot, my husband loved the history of the venue, and I loved the deep wood, wrought iron and warm lighting inside. Exquisite attention to ambiance, design and detail this venue is and was everything we could have hoped for. Working with the owners, Michael & Merrily, was smooth and effortless, the onsite staff (Jess & Greg!) are knowledgeable, friendly and truly so inviting. The best part is that during the season, you can enjoy a glass of wine inside or out - and the venue feels like home. We loved taking our family & friends to visit often before the wedding so that they could share our excitement and enjoy the hospitality. The fact that the vineyard is active, and not just a place where we spent one special day, but a place we can return to over and over again is so special to us. Saltwater also has an excellent list of recommended vendors who truly know the best parts of the site. We had no trouble planning any part of our special day, and are so grateful that this beautiful vineyard was the place for our lifelong memories.

“We had a small, intimate wedding at Saltwater Farm Vineyard, and couldn’t have been happier with the venue. As my husband and I didn’t want a cookie cutter banquet wedding, scenery and ambiance were two things that were very important things for us. Upon entering Saltwater Farm Vineyard, the view was gorgeous and serene…we immediately knew we wanted to get married here.

The hangar is beautiful, rustic yet elegant with café lights, a bar, fireplace, and a huge open space (perfect for social distancing). The outdoor ceremony area in front of the vineyard was vast and lush, truly breathtaking. The bridal suite is a dream, with sweeping views of the vineyard, and tons of natural light beaming in. This venue checked all the boxes….it was PERFECT!

Merrily, the venue owner, was so attentive throughout the whole process, prompt with communication and so flexible with our vendor choices. She was always there to greet us when we scheduled multiple site visits, and was always so passionate about the vineyard.

On the day of the wedding, the Saltwater staff was nothing but professional and efficient. Our friends and family commented on how kind and friendly the staff were, making us all feel at home.
