From the Happy Couple,
“We’ve loved Saltwater Farm Vineyard since our very first visit. My Maid of Honor gave me a gift certificate for my 30th birthday a couple years back, because, to no surprise, it’s one of her longtime favorite places. Walking up to see the WWII-era airplane hangar turned into a beautiful space, among the backdrop of the vines and water, was breathtaking. Dylan is a passionate history teacher, while I’m pretty passionate about all things wine. As one can imagine, those two interests do not intersect often. But what felt oddly meant to be is what made me say on our very first visit, years before our engagement, “We absolutely need to get married here!!!”. In response, I might’ve gotten a nervous glance from Dylan at the time … BUT when the day finally came - as I knew it would based on my confidence years back - with my favorite person and dream ring on my finger, to pick a venue, we knew exactly where we wanted to have it.
Fast forward a year and a half later, we got to have the most magical Wedding Day at our favorite vineyard. From the gorgeous fairytale lighting, beautifully crafted flowers and centerpieces, awesome music, amazing wine tasting during cocktail hour, and delicious food, to the most perfect backdrop for pictures among the vines, we could not have dreamt of a more perfect day. And to know we can come back to this special place for years to come and visit with the staff, who feel more like friends, is the cherry on top.
We’re grateful for the Saltwater family, and special shout outs to Merrily, Michael, Jess and Greg for being the kindest souls. Thanks to our vendors who added such special touches to an already beautiful venue and helped make our day such a blast. We’re appreciative to each and every one of you. We can’t wait to be back sipping wine, trying different food trucks and listening to music at our favorite place for many years to come, as HUSBAND & WIFE!!!”
